Kangoo Jumps community donated 16,000 lei in two days for children with cancer

It all took place during the first two days of the charity event Kangoo Jumps for Life, which takes place online this year. Thus, between March 20 and 30, 100 instructors from all over the world hold classes online, in a private Facebook group, to which they can join only after a participation fee that is automatically donated to that cause. It is the initiative that Kinga Sebestyen had, together with Maria Culescu, the president of the M.A.M.E. Association, together organizing this charitable event every year, from 2010 until now.

“I am proud of the Kangoo Jumps community, which has responded positively to our initiative every year. Through this sport we celebrate life and health and we are committed to helping those in need. We are going through a period in which the trainings take place mostly online and we have thus adapted the charity event that, in the past years, we organized in halls. Starting on Saturday, we have 100 instructors from all over the world who teach Kangoo Jumps online. Those who sign up pay a participation fee that we donate in full to the M.A.M.E. Association, to cover at least part of the costs of treatments followed by children with cancer in the care of the association. I am glad that, in just two days, we managed to raise 16,000 lei. Donations continue until March 30. Until then, we will have daily online workouts with instructors from around the world. We want to contribute a considerable amount of money in the end. Registrations are made online at https://asociatiamame.ro/crowdfunding/product/kangoo-jumps/, participants will have access to daily training sessions, even after March 30, the registrations remaining online for another month days, ”says Kinga Sebestyen.

Maria Culescu, president of the MAME Association, thanks all those who have been involved, in the last decade, in supporting the association’s programs, emphasizing how important their contribution is in the process of treating children who face this disease.

“Donations from the“ Kangoo Jumps for Life ”event will be used by the M.A.M.E. to support the therapies complementary to the medical treatment needed by 124 children diagnosed with serious diseases, which are in our care. These children benefit free of charge, within the Stars Center, from psycho-medical recovery through psychotherapy, physiotherapy, physiotherapy, medical and nutritional counseling, art therapy and many others, which help them to overcome the disease more easily „, says Maria Culescu, president of the MAME Association.
