5,000+ EURO were donated by Kinga Sebestyen and Kangoo Jumps lovers for children with cancer
Goodwill people, who love Kangoo Jumps, responded affirmatively to the proposal of Kinga Sebestyen, the well-known instructor and sports entrepreneur, and bought online tickets for the charity event in March or donated money directly to the M.A.M.E.
Until now, the donated sum covers 322 hours of physical therapy from the 1500 required to be made by the seriously ill children in 2019.
„Long periods of hospitalisation affect the locomotor system of the children diagnosed with cancer or other serious illness. That is why the physiotherapy services (they benefit from within the Center of Stars) are extremely important for their complete recovery. The kids perform weekly, under close supervision of the specialist, exercises tailored to the needs and capacity of each of them, helping them correct their posture and alignment, recovering their elasticity and muscle strength, improving their neuromotor coordination, control and balance. That’s why we’re happy to see that year-by-year there’s an increase in the number of people involved in the “Kangoo Jumps for Life” event. We look forward to meet all the people who love this sport, to make together the movement and, at the same time, to help the ones who need it! „, stated Maria Culescu, the founding president of the Association M.A.M.E.
On March 16th, the “Kangoo Jumps for Life” event will take place at the Dumbravita Polivalenta Hall, in Timis County, Romania, where Kangoo Jumps instructors and presenters from around the world will be present. They, along with more than 1000 participants, will do Kangoo Jumps and will pay the entrance fee (150 lei) and the additional amounts for the humanitarian cause.
This type of event took place annually in March in the past 11 years, giving every time thousands of euros for the children affected by the severe illness to be able to benefit from better conditions at the hospital they are treated.
In the March 16 event, different aerobics classes (especially Kangoo Jumps) will be held by national and international attendees including Kinga Sebestyén – the person who brought Kangoo Jumps to Romania, Trainer and Mentor of hundreds of instructors from across the country and from abroad, Ildikó Marica – Trainer and Presenter Kangoo Jumps, has licensed hundreds of instructors in the country and abroad, Ciprian Cavajdan – Presenter Kangoo Jumps and Presenter Aerobic, winner of the New Face of Fitness 2018 contest, Pintea Cristina – Presenter Kangoo Jumps – Marta Silvia – Presenter Kangoo Jumps-, Lőrincz Ernő – Instructor Kangoo Jumps and instructor at Box Team Hungary.
